Waka Ama is a boat race with traditional Maori waka instead of boats. I would like to be in a Waka Ama race one day because I think it would be a great experience and lots of fun. Hi Ari, we have just reached our first rest point and I'm scared. There are lots of dark caves and shadowy trees that look like someone is going to jump out from behind them. Everyone says the island isn't populated but I'm not so sure. I'm also nervous that there's going to be no trees in NZ, I mean I don't even know anything about NZ. Thanks for reading this I will write more letters soon.
