  1. Hi Jack

My name is Allie and I am one of the SLJ team. Well done on completing another activity.
Just so you know today (Friday) is the last day of the programme and if you are going to do anymore activities then please post them today.

Going back to the 30's would be an awesome experience. You are taking lots of cool things. They would love the chocolate and lollies.
What sort of games are you taking? Board or Computer/Playstation?

I would take my chromebook with me! Because I think that the internet would blow their socks off!! If they saw what we could do and look at on the internet would be crazy!!

Taking sports equipment with you means you would possibly have to show them how to play the games. What equipment would you take?

Great work Jack, Well done with all of your work over the Summer. Thanks for taking part in the first Summer Learning Journey. I look forward to seeing you when I come to Paroa School with certificates and prizes.

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Hi Allie Jack here the games I would take would be board games because they could understand how they work as computer/play station would probably confuse them so much they wouldn't be ale to play them. The sports equipment I would take would be rugby balls, tennis balls, frisbees and soccer balls.

  3. hi Jack, I like the gifts that you listed. I would also take fruit as I remember my grandad telling me that sometimes they would get an orange for Christmas! If I could afford it (and the family had electricity in their home) I would also like to take some labour saving devices for women e.g a washing machine, and an electric jug, toaster etc. Mum

  4. Hi Jack

Thanks for telling me what games you would take with you. And the sports equipment is really important so you could teach them how to play with each one.
I hope you have enjoyed the SLJ and hopefully we will see you blogging again next summer!

    Allie:)
