Flanders field

The poem In Flanders Field makes me feel sad because of the soldiers who died for our country although I do like the feel to it. Here is the link so you can read it for yourself.

    Thank you for sharing your opinion on the poem, I agree with you it makes me feel a little bit sad too.
    I am wondering what you mean about the feel to the poem?
    Is there something in particular that you like?

    I really like the line about the poppies in the poem, I like the that between the crosses where the soldiers are resting there are some poppies sprouting. I think its nice that there is now some beauty in such a sad place.
